James is no stranger to the North East having lived here since the age of 2yrs. He lives in the city and has recently married Jaime, a lab technician at the University of Aberdeen.

Having studied the different subject areas of science and media, he applied for this post because of his strong connection with the Church of Scotland. James has close connections with his family as well. He says, “My mother is a school administrator in Mintlaw, my father runs a small business in Cruden Bay fixing, selling and teaching computers, my sister is a freelance model maker living in a van”.

James continues to pursue media related projects for himself and is looking forward to getting into the job of Administration Officer. He says, “I hope to ensure a smooth transition to the new presbytery and serve well as part of the life of the presbytery into the future. Additionally I’m a massive nerd, and that if I look or seem at all familiar from a church context it’s probably because I’ve been at 5 General Assemblies as a Youth Rep and 9 Youth Assemblies”.
